The other day I ordered a shawarma and it was falling apart and the fixings were all wrong. It wasn't made with Ihsaan. I was annoyed and wouldn't order that again.

PS. Inshallah we will have the same standards for our sandwiches as we do for our Islamic services
Ehsaan is the last stage of muslims, where all the muslims does not exist, If i am not wrong the first stage is become a "muslim" (mean accept the islam), second is become a "momin" and third is "ehsaan".
Masha'Allah these leadership lessons are right on target. Ihsan is truly excellence, but I've also described it as doing something with Integrity. If as Muslims, we all do things with integrity, we wouldn't have the issues we have today. As a teacher, I work with young students and when I teach character education or core values, I introduce "Integrity" as "Always doing the right thing even when no one is looking". It goes beyond that in that you do the right thing, even when it is difficult or costly. Doing things with Integrity is also defined as being true to your best self, living up to the highest ethical standards and not compromising your values by giving in to your desires. As Muslim, it all goes back to always doing the right thing knowing Allah (swt) is watching you by living up to those standards of excellence--this is living and leading with Ihsan or Integrity. If we all strive for this individually and collectively, we would not have to endure the "accidental chaos" we face today. JAK
Awesome!
ReplyDeleteGEM: I hope we "strategize" to get up and work for da'wah, and NOT run away from it!
